Parks and Open Space Committee

Chairperson Christina Taylor welcomes you to the BCEQ Parks / Open Space Committee WEBPAGE.

The Bronx has more parkland than any other Borough in the city, with 25% being parkland.  It is home of the largest  park in New York City -  Pelham Bay Park, and the fourth largest - Van Cortlandt Park.

The BCEQ Parks/OpenSpace Committee works to help preserve and protect all of our precious parkland in The Bronx.  We are actively recruiting new members and value your input.   Please contact us with any questions or concerns or to get involved.

IF you have any parks and/or open spaces issues you want to bring to our attention, send us a note and we will aslk that you attend a board meeting to make a presentation.  Then the item will be referred to the Parks Committee for discussion and a motion for additional action.  We strongly suggest that you provide evidence of community support for your concerns and that you or a member of your group join the ranks of  BCEQ.
